How do I make an appointment?
Texting is preferred. We are a silent salon, so our phones are all on silent; we will call you or text back if we're unavailable when you call.
What is a silent salon?
To enhance your experience, we have our phones on silent and request that clients do the same.
How can I see what type of colouring you do?
You can check out our style & vibe in our web gallery or Instagram page. These are just a few of our favourites; our stylists are happy to discuss any colouring requests.
How often should I get my hair coloured?
We recommend a touch-up every 4-8 weeks.
How do I wash my hair?
Our favourite question! We have a 5 step system that is simple & will leave you with the healthiest hair:
1 | Shampoo twice (rinse in between)
2 | Apply Treatment mask (comb through, leave for max 5 mins, rinse)
3 | Apply Conditioner (comb through, leave for max 5 mins, rinse thoroughly)
4 | Comb protective serum, oil or spray through towel-dried hair.
5 | Apply protective finishing product to hair once dry.
We can supply you with all the products you need to maximise your hair health & that fresh-from-the-salon feel.
What hair products do I need?
We recommend shampoo, mask, condition, protect & finish. We recommend (as a minimum) our 5 product system to leave you with the best hair & protect your colour service. You can add more products to your collection depending on your individual hair, scalp & styling needs. Ask your stylist for more information.
What brand or products do you use?
Keune hair cosmetics. We are passionate about the quality of the products we use. Keune provides the tools to achieve unique bespoke colours while maintaining incomparable hair quality. We have styling aids for all your styling needs & dermatologically tested & ticked products for everything from the most sensitive to hair growth to scalp conditions.
Can I book online?
Due to the complexity & variations in colour services, we manage our bookings, so online booking is unavailable. We prefer to make it easy for you, using text as our primary means of communication.
Will I receive a confirmation message?
You will receive a confirmation message six days before your appointment.
How long will my colour appointment take?
Allow 3 hours for darkening services & up to 4 hours for a lightening service. We pride ourselves on our efficiency & we know that a luxury experience doesn't have to take all day. We will have you feeling fresh & fabulous in what feels like no time at all.
Can I work while getting my hair done?
Absolutely. We all lead busy lives & we encourage bringing your laptop & jumping onto the wifi if needed. Of course, you can also bring a book, a magazine or catch up on your socials while kicking back in our comfy chairs.
How much will my service cost?
The total service price will vary depending on the amount of hair, the complexity of the service & products used during your visit. We desire to create your dream result, so we ask you to contact us for a rough guide if you are still determining your required services. We do have a starting price guide here.
What if I get hungry during my service?
We get it, 3 hours is a long time! We are close to a vast selection of excellent quality takeaway food; bring something with you or use one of the many food delivery services for something delivered to your chair. If you are unsure what is around, ask us for a recommendation, we love food almost as much as we love hair!

Should I wash my hair before my appointment?
It is best to wash your hair two days before your appointment. If you use non-professional products, they can build up on your hair cuticle and potentially affect your colour service. We ask that you wash your hair with Keune products before your appointment. These are available via our shop. Our preference is Derma Exfoliate to assist in the removal of the build-up.
Can I leave my appointment with wet hair/without a style?
Our preference is no. It is not a cost saver as our blow-dry service is complimentary with a trim after a colour.We provide a professional service, and it is important to us that you leave feeling & looking fabulous.
Is it safe to colour my hair whilst pregnant?
Yes. All Keune products, inclusive of colour ranges, are safe to use when pregnant or breastfeeding. These products are manufactured in accordance with EU regulations as set by the Consumer Scientific Committee for Consumer Safety. If you have any concerns please chat to your stylist.
Can I come to my appointment if I'm unwell?
Please call us if you're not feeling well, and we will prioritise getting you rescheduled asap.
